I have always considered myself a creative person. The problem comes when I need to decide on an outlet for it; I am not talented in the arts at all. Music? Yes. Visual arts? Nope. Not at all.
That doesn’t stop my creativity, though. I get strong inspiration from visual things as well, and I get a lot of good moods from aesthetics in general. That is why I am putting a lot of effort into my home interior and such, even if I myself am not naturally very talented at it.
How do I express myself visually, then? There are many ways. A lot of visual things do not require skills in drawing or painting, the greatest example being this blogging and website-making I have done since I was a child (of course my blog currently runs on WordPress, but that has not always been the case!).
My other favorite creative hobby is related to technology as well: computer games! I like various genres, but I have a special place in my heart for creative ones, and I am super happy every time any larger game with a strong focus on creativity is launched. There have been many good ones lately; I wonder if the advancements of technology have enabled the creation of these kinds of games or if the different genres have not just been developed equally before.
In any case, when I decided at the beginning of the month that I would be doing something creative on December 14th, it was clear I would be doing it in the number one creative game of them all: Minecraft! I was supposed to create something Christmassy, but since I already had an unfinished Disney-style project, I decided to do that first. So, enjoy the tower of Rapunzel! I definitely did not try to make a copy of the movie, but I think it can be easily seen that the inspiration is strong.

Since my original idea was to do this from my Christmas blog, I also added a few Christmas projects: a candy cane (which, by the way, are not that common treats in Finland) and a Christmas-decorated winter cottage! Enjoy!
