Nature creates balance.

Today’s theme was supposed to be nature, and I was supposed to go see some extraordinary-looking places while doing my weekly long run. Maybe take some photos while at it.

This would have been a technically possible plan to achieve, but realistically, the amount of snow is currently so high that it is not likely that any rarely visited places are easily accessible. I learned from my last February visit to Lapland that a tall pile of snow is very heavy to move in.

So, I decided to visit the third Christmas market of the month! Leineperin Joulutori was arranged today, and me and my family decided to go. And it was way bigger than we expected! Here are some pictures of the goods I purchased: oats straight from the mill and buckthorn berry glogg! I really was not supposed to use money, but the glogg was insanely good. Some pictures are also from the area; the market was arranged in a historic factory area after all. Very nice.

After the market fun, I was frozen to the bone, but the long run still had to be done. That was not made any easier by my body not working with me at all today. Anyway, I managed to work it out, and as proof, I am adding some nature pictures, as promised.
